Eagles’ A.J. Brown Visits Injured 10-Year-Old After Plane Crash

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown paid a special visit to 10-year-old Andre Howard, who was injured in a plane crash in Northeast Philadelphia last month. The incident killed seven people, including a young girl and her mother from Mexico.

Andre has been in the hospital since the January 31 plane tragedy and had just begun talking after emergency surgery. His first words were about the Super Bowl, revealing his die-hard Eagles fandom.

Brown had previously tweeted a message of support for Andre, promising to visit him after the big game. The young boy’s mother shared pictures with Action News of the family posing with Brown and the Lombardi trophy on Wednesday.

Andre’s father described the moment when he grabbed his sister to protect her from flying debris during the crash. His son had a metal shard outside his head but is expected to make a full recovery.
