A$AP Rocky’s trial has progressed to its second week in Los Angeles, with the rapper maintaining his innocence against a 2021 felony assault charge. The incident occurred when he allegedly fired a gun at a former friend, A$AP Relli (real name Terell Ephron). According to Rocky’s defense, the gun was a prop and no bullets were discharged.
Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, entered a “not guilty” plea earlier in the trial. His partner, Rihanna, who is also his mother of their children, has been present throughout the proceedings. The jury will now determine Rocky’s fate based on this defense.
