Google has launched its second major sale of 2025, offering significant discounts on its entire Pixel 9 range. The sale, available on the UK store, knocks hundreds of pounds off various models.
The biggest discounts are for the Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL, with £200 ($248.46) off the former, and the Pixel 8a, which now starts at £349 ($433.56). This is an excellent price for a phone that offers top-notch photography capabilities and access to most of Google’s AI tools.
The sale also covers the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, with £250 off ($310.57), but it seems this may be a last-ditch effort before the new Pixel 9a arrives on March 19th. The latest flagship has been leaked to have a price tag of $499 for the 128GB model and $599 for the 256GB version.
However, what’s notable is that Google won’t offer any free year-long subscription with pre-ordering the new device. Instead, customers will receive a six-month Fitbit Premium subscription, three months of YouTube Premium, and access to a limited tier of Google One. This decision may seem counterintuitive given Google charges $240 for a year of Gemini Advanced, half the suggested price of the Pixel 9a.
The discount sale marks an interesting move ahead of the new flagship’s arrival, with Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone SE 4 also releasing at the same time.
