Elden Ring: Nightreign DLC Confirmed, More Content Coming?

FromSoftware’s upcoming survival royale game Elden Ring: Nightreign has kicked off its network test, but eagle-eyed observers have already spotted hints of additional content in the works. A now-deleted Steam page revealed that the game will receive additional playable characters and bosses after launch.

This news comes as no surprise, given FromSoftware’s consistent track record of releasing DLC for their previous games. With Elden Ring: Nightreign being a standalone title, fans are eagerly anticipating more content to complement the existing gameplay.

The prospect of returning boss fights from previous FromSoftware games is particularly exciting, with iconic characters like Gwyn and Lady Maria making appearances in the game’s network test build. The possibility of new playable characters fighting against these bosses adds another layer of depth to the game.

While nothing is set in stone yet, the confirmation of additional content has fans hopeful that more FromSoftware favorites will make their way into Elden Ring: Nightreign. With a launch date of May 30, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, players can look forward to an exciting co-op experience.

The network test is currently underway, but with some technical hitches along the way. For those who missed the beta, a review of our Elden Ring: Nightreign impressions provides a glimpse into the game’s current state.
