Timothee Chalamet Warns Against Cult-Like Figures

Oscar-nominated actor Timothee Chalamet has expressed caution when it comes to cult-like figures, drawing inspiration from his roles as Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown” and Paul Atreides in “Dune”.

Chalamet, who stars as Dylan in the Berlin Film Festival, believes that the musician’s songs contain warnings about cult-like figures. He advises people to be wary of saviour-like figures, a message also present in Frank Herbert’s novel “Dune”.

The actor, 29, has been praised for his performances in both films and is now in the running for best actor at next month’s Oscars.

Chalamet discussed the value of artist-driven projects, stating that such works are becoming increasingly scarce.
