The ARCA and Xfinity Series season openers will take place on Saturday, February 15, sandwiched around the final practice for the Daytona 500. The day begins with qualifying for the Xfinity race at 10 a.m., followed by an 80-lap ARCA race at noon ET.
Cup Series teams will have their last Daytona 500 tune-up with a 50-minute practice starting at 3:05 p.m. Meanwhile, Austin Hill will look to defend his title in the Xfinity Series season opener, which is also set for 5 p.m. ET.
Here’s a breakdown of the schedule:
* Garage opens at 7 a.m.
* ARCA racing from 8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m., followed by driver introductions at 11:40 a.m.
* Xfinity qualifying takes place from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and driver introductions are scheduled for 4:25 p.m.
* The ARCA race starts at noon ET, followed by Cup practice from 3:05-3:55 p.m.
* The Xfinity season opener begins at 5 p.m. ET.
