Corsair CEO Andy Paul believes that Rockstar’s highly anticipated game Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released on PC in early 2026, potentially sparking a surge in demand for computer peripherals and components. According to Paul, the game will be “the most anticipated and hardware-demanding game” coming soon, and he expects it to benefit Corsair’s gaming business.
Paul made his prediction during a recent earnings call, where he discussed GTA 6 as a driving force behind increased sales of Corsair’s products. This comes after Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two, confirmed that a PC port for GTA 6 will not be released at launch. However, it is unclear how accurate Paul’s information is, given the traditional practice of Rockstar games releasing on consoles before coming to PC.
A PC release after just a few months would be unusual, as seen in the case of Grand Theft Auto 5, which took 19 months to hit PC after its debut in 2013. While Zelnick previously suggested that there will be a PC port at some point, he did not provide a specific timeline.
As Take-Two sets Borderlands 4 for a late September release, the anticipation surrounding GTA 6 may be building up. The future of Grand Theft Auto Online remains uncertain, with neither Zelnick nor Paul confirming its status.
