Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui to Star in New Season of ‘The White Lotus’

Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui will be the backdrop for several locations in HBO’s upcoming third season of “The White Lotus”. The resort, nestled on the Thai island of Koh Samui, is expected to feature prominently alongside other properties such as Anantara resorts and Rosewood Phuket.

The resort, which opened 18 years ago, boasts 71 rooms, including 60 pool villas and 11 private residences. Its amenities include a “Secret Garden Spa”, multiple on-site restaurants and bars, and a Muay Thai boxing ring.

The show’s use of the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui marks the third time one of the hotel company’s properties has been featured in “The White Lotus”. Previous seasons have showcased the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Hawaii and the San Domenico Palace, Taormina in Italy.

“Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui’s breathtaking natural beauty and rich cultural setting make it a perfect backdrop for ‘The White Lotus’,” said Marc Speichert, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Four Seasons. “We’re already experiencing increased interest in Thailand following the first two seasons.”

Interest in traveling to Hawaii and Italy surged after the first two seasons of “The White Lotus”, and it appears that similar trends are expected for Thailand. The resort’s location on Koh Samui has seen a sharp acceleration in bookings, with multiple Four Seasons properties in the region experiencing increased interest.

The third season of “The White Lotus” will air its first episode on Sunday and spans eight episodes total.
