A Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT Gaming OC listing accidentally went live on Amazon, and a Reddit user took advantage of the situation to secure an order with a March 10 delivery date. The invoice quoted at CAD 1,365 translates to almost $950 before taxes. The buyer paid Nvidia’s set MSRP for the RTX 5080 equivalent, despite the graphics card not being out yet.
Another Redditor had also acquired a Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC and posted an unboxing video on X, revealing the GPU’s specs, including 4,096 Streaming Processors and 16GB of VRAM. The Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT Gaming OC requires an 850W power supply and supports FSR 4.
This is not the first time the RX 9070 XT has been leaked outside its retail packaging. AMD plans to host the RX 9070 announcement on February 28 and will launch the GPU in early March, while Nvidia has allegedly postponed the $549 RTX 5070 release to compete with the RX 9070.
