The developer of the 2021 Definitive Edition collection, Grove Street Games, has seemingly unfollowed Rockstar on Twitter after an update removed its name from menu screens. The update introduced significant improvements, including a “Classic Lighting mode” that restores the look and feel of the original games. However, the removal of Grove Street’s name from the menus sparked speculation about the developer’s feelings towards Rockstar.
Despite this, it appears that there hasn’t been a major falling out between the two parties, as Rockstar still follows Grove Street on Twitter. The reason for the unfollow is unclear, but it may be due to the project being completed and moved on from by Grove Street. The studio currently follows official accounts related to other projects, such as Ark: Ultimate Survival Edition.
The Definitive Edition collection has seen significant improvements with the latest update, making it a great time for fans to try the game again.
