South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home in Seoul on Sunday at the age of 24. Her body was discovered by a friend, who immediately contacted police.
Details about her death are still unclear, but authorities say there’s no sign of forced entry. The investigation is ongoing.
Kim began her acting career as a child and rose to fame with roles in the 2010 film “The Man from Nowhere” and 2012 thriller “The Neighbor.” Her last project was “Bloodhounds,” released in 2023.
A drunken driving incident in May 2022 led to the suspension of her acting career, followed by a court fine of 20 million won ($13,850) in April 2023.
