The nephew of released Israeli hostage Keith Siegel, Asaf Feldman, has spoken out about the emotional impact of opposition to his uncle’s release from Hamas captivity. Feldman said that statements from some Israeli MKs opposing the deal “brought him down,” but also credited the protests for the remaining hostages as a source of encouragement for his uncle’s release. Feldman shared his emotions during a rally calling for the release of all remaining hostages in Jerusalem on Saturday, stating that they now know it was the protests that reached Siegel and led to his freedom.
