Tyler Herro Wins NBA 3-Point Contest with Blazing Performance

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro showcased his three-point shooting skills at Saturday’s NBA 3-Point Contest, dominating the competition to take home the title. Herro scored 19 points in the first round and 24 points in the final round, leaving Golden State Warriors guard Buddy Hield in second place with 23 points.

Herro’s impressive performance was met with congratulations from other players, including Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden, who himself is a prolific three-point shooter. Harden has made it clear that he believes he should be considered the greatest three-point shooter in NBA history, saying he’ll take the top spot on the list after Stephen Curry.

Despite not being among the all-time leaders in 3-pointers made, Herro’s shooting efficiency and volume are impressive, particularly for a player still in his sixth season. The Heat will look to carry over this momentum into their next game against the Toronto Raptors on February 21, aiming to snap a four-game losing streak.

The Heat currently sit as the No. 9 seed in the East and could benefit from stacking up wins in the coming weeks to improve their standing in the standings.
