Apple is set to add artificial intelligence features and a spatial content app to its Vision Pro headset, as early as April, according to Bloomberg. The updates include Apple Intelligence, which will bring features such as the Writing Tools interface, Genmojis, and Image Playground app.
The move comes as Apple seeks to revitalize sales of the device, which had seen waning interest due to its high price and competition from more affordable options like Meta Platforms’ Quest. Developers may be able to test the AI-powered features in a beta version this week.
The Vision Pro headset starts at $3,499 and has been struggling to gain traction since its launch last year. With these new updates, Apple aims to enhance the user experience and stay competitive in the market.
