Google’s latest mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 9a, is set to arrive soon, and a new leak from WinFuture has provided an in-depth look at its specs, pricing, and features. Here’s what we know about the device.
The Pixel 9a measures larger than its predecessor, the Pixel 8a, with dimensions of 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9 mm. This growth accommodates a bigger battery (5,100mAh) and a larger 6.3-inch display with a resolution of 2424×1080 and a 120Hz refresh rate, all covered by Gorilla Glass 3. The display features significantly larger bezels compared to other Pixel 9 series devices.
In terms of weight, the Pixel 9a is lighter than expected, weighing in at 185.9g, despite being slightly heavier than its US counterparts.
Under the hood, the device runs on Google Tensor G4, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. Android 15 comes pre-installed at launch, along with a promising 7-year OS update cycle.
The rear camera setup consists of a 48MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a front-facing 13MP sensor. Other notable features include wireless charging, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6, satellite support, a fingerprint sensor, and face recognition.
Pricing for the device is expected to start at €499 for the base 128GB model and €599 for the higher-end 256GB variant, mirroring earlier leaks for US markets. Although no release date has been confirmed, reports suggest that the Pixel 9a will arrive in late March.
