Elon Musk’s AI Startup xAI Unveils Grok3, Claims Beta Beats Rivals Like ChatGPT4

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI has announced an update to its chatbot platform, claiming that the new version, Grok3, outperforms competitors like ChatGPT4. According to a video presentation by Musk and his team, Grok3 excels in mathematics, science, and coding tasks, thanks to the power of the Colossus supercomputer.

The development of Grok is driven by Musk’s pursuit of knowledge and understanding of the universe. He stated that the mission of xAI and Grok is to uncover truth, even if it means going against what is politically correct.

Grok3 has been released to premium subscribers on X and will soon be available online through subscription and a smartphone app update. Musk acknowledged that the early version may have errors but promised rapid improvements every day.

The rivalry between Musk’s xAI and OpenAI, co-founded by Sam Altman, has been ongoing for years. Musk recently made an unsolicited offer to buy OpenAI for $97.4 billion, which Altman rejected. The two companies are also part of the Stargate Project, a $500 billion privately funded AI infrastructure project.

Musk’s involvement in politics continues as he is now part of the president’s inner circle after contributing over $270 million to Trump’s reelection effort and accepting an appointment to run the Department of Government Efficiency.
