The Philadelphia Eagles have promoted passing game coordinator/associate head coach Kevin Patullo to offensive coordinator, replacing former OC Kellen Moore. The move is expected to reunite Pass Game Coordinator Parks Frazier with Head Coach Nick Sirianni, who worked together at the Indianapolis Colts from 2018-2020.
Patullo’s tenure in Philadelphia began in 2021 as pass game coordinator and was later elevated to associate head coach in 2023. He brings valuable experience working under Sirianni, having spent three years together in Indy. Patullo’s promotion marks a historical first since the 1970 merger, with Sirianni becoming the first head coach to have four different OCs in a four-season span.
The Eagles’ recent coordinator changes, including Shane Steichen’s departure for a head coaching job and Brian Johnson’s struggles in 2023, make this move a significant change. Patullo’s intimate knowledge of the roster and staff is expected to provide continuity for an offense that has undergone numerous changes since Jalen Hurts took over under center.
