JetBlue Pilot Arrested for Sex Exploitation Charges

A 33-year-old JetBlue pilot was arrested at Boston’s Logan International Airport on a warrant out of North Carolina on Thursday night. Jeremy Gudorf, who resides in Ohio, is facing second-degree sex exploitation charges related to minors. Prosecutors say the charges stem from an alleged offense in North Carolina.

Gudorf’s attorney requested bail, stating his client has the financial resources to post it and is willing to turn himself in to North Carolina authorities by next Tuesday if released on bail. The airline, JetBlue, has placed Gudorf on indefinite leave pending further investigation.

The judge set a $10,000 bail for Gudorf, who was initially scheduled to fly a transatlantic flight to Paris. Gudorf will face serious charges, and his attorney emphasized the pilot’s awareness of the situation, stating “there’s no running away from this case.”
