A JetBlue pilot, Jeremy Gudorf, 33, was arrested at Boston’s Logan International Airport on Thursday, Feb. 20, while preparing for a flight to Paris. A Massachusetts State Police officer discovered an active warrant for his arrest in North Carolina, where he faces charges of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Gudorf was arraigned in East Boston District Court and ordered held on $10,000 bail. The judge also required him to return to North Carolina by Feb. 25. JetBlue has placed Gudorf on indefinite leave pending the outcome of his case.
According to investigators, the warrant was obtained through a Google search that led to the identification of child exploitation images. The Huntersville Police Department in North Carolina received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in October 2024, which prompted an investigation. Gudorf’s defense attorney stated that his client is presumed innocent until proven otherwise by the state.
Gudorf will face additional court dates in Massachusetts on March 19, but those proceedings may be waived if he clears the warrant from North Carolina.
