Apple has released the first developer beta of iOS 18.4, offering a mix of new features and changes for users. The update includes Apple News+ Food, a curated section with thousands of recipes from top publishers.
Priority Notifications make it easier to find important notifications with a unique design. Image Playground now offers three image styles, including sketch. Apple Intelligence is available in more languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Chinese.
Additional features include Ambient Music control center toggles, new default app categories, and a redesigned CarPlay interface. The Mail app has been updated on iPad, offering automatic email organization into four categories. Apple Vision Pro updates are coming soon, featuring a new app with spatial computing capabilities.
The Photos app now offers a list view for editing albums, while users can set parental controls during iPhone setup. Podcast widgets have been added, allowing easy access to podcasts from a library or show. Two new Australian voices for Siri and design tweaks to Control Center are also included in the update.
Apple has announced that iOS 18.4 will be released to public beta testers next week, with Apple Vision Pro updates and other features coming in April.
