Manchester United Struggle with Slow Starts in Premier League

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim criticized his team’s slow starts after a point was earned against Everton despite trailing 2-0 at halftime. The Red Devils have now scored just once in the first half of their past 11 league games.

“We did not exist in the first half,” Amorim said post-game, acknowledging suspect defending and failure to create scoring opportunities. United have been struggling this season, winning only one of their last five Premier League games, currently sitting 15th in the table.

Amorim expressed frustration with his team’s inability to find solutions and emphasized the need for a day-by-day approach to survive the season before looking ahead. United face Ipswich Town on Wednesday and an FA Cup fifth-round clash with Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday.
