Elon Musk and Grimes’ highly publicized custody dispute over their three children has come to an end. The Travis County clerk’s office confirmed that a judge issued a final order in August, listing the case as “closed”. The billionaire entrepreneur filed a lawsuit in September 2023, seeking custody of his children, including X Æ A-12, Exa, and Tau. Grimes countered with a suit in San Francisco, citing her own claims to parenting rights.
The couple met for court hearings in Texas, where they had a hearing in August, followed by another meeting between their legal teams. The case was previously sealed from public view, only allowing authorized parties access. However, it appears the dispute has been settled, with Grimes now stating that she will have sole custody of the children every other week.
