The White Lotus Season 3 has welcomed another familiar face to its cast, albeit in a voice-only role. In the second episode, set in Thailand, Timothy Ratliff (Jason Isaacs) reconnects with his old friend Kenneth “Kenny” Nguyen, and it’s revealed that Kenny is being investigated by the FBI for allegedly involved in a money laundering scheme.
HBO confirmed Ke Huy Quan as the voice behind Kenny’s frantic phone call. The actor’s voice is heard spitting out warnings of impending prison time before getting cut off due to an unexpected visit from federal agents.
The cameo marks a significant departure from Quan’s usual wholesome roles, such as his starring role in Universal Pictures’ Love Hurts and upcoming film The Electric State.
Meanwhile, Jon Gries returns for the third season, reuniting with previous cast members Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) and Greg (Charlotte Le Bon), who have seemingly complicated relationships.
