Alec Baldwin Threatens to Kill Trump Mimic Heckler

Alec Baldwin lost control when confronted by an ambush comedian on the street over the death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. The comedian, impersonating Donald Trump, cornered Baldwin while he was loading his belongings into a vehicle. The exchange ended with Baldwin threatening the heckler, saying “If this camera wasn’t here, I’d snap your f—ing neck in half and break your f—ing neck right here.” Baldwin had previously been charged with involuntary manslaughter in Hutchins’ death but those charges were later dismissed.

The incident occurred after Scoop, the comedian impersonating Trump, alluded to his role on Saturday Night Live, saying he would give Baldwin a pardon if he kissed his ring. Baldwin ignored him at first but escalated the situation when told about the camera capturing their exchange. He warned the heckler that if they weren’t in front of it, he would harm them.

This incident is not the first time Baldwin has had a physical altercation with someone on the street. In 2012 and 2018, he was accused of punching paparazzi outside a marriage license bureau and in a parking spot dispute, respectively, resulting in settlements. Baldwin has discussed his PTSD diagnosis following Hutchins’ death on his family’s reality series The Baldwins.

In an interview, Baldwin revealed that the incident still affects him, stating “I’m happier when I’m asleep than when I’m awake.” His wife also shared concerns about his mental health since the tragedy, noting that at times he has asked, “Why couldn’t it have been me?”
