Pope’s Health Shows Slight Improvement Amid Ongoing Treatment

Vatican officials have reported a slight improvement in Pope Francis’ health, with no episodes of severe respiratory distress and some laboratory tests showing signs of recovery. Despite this, the Pope’s kidney insufficiency remains a concern. Oxygen therapy continues, albeit with reduced flow.

The Pope received the Eucharist on Monday morning and resumed his work in the afternoon, before calling a parish priest to express his paternal closeness. He has also thanked the people for their prayers, particularly after a video from Gaza’s Holy Family parish was sent to him.

A recent report claiming that the Vatican had secured an apartment at Rome’s Isola Tiberina hospital for Pope Francis’ supposed transfer is false. The apartment is actually reserved for private patients.
