Google and Salesforce Partner on AI-Driven Customer Solutions

Google Cloud and Salesforce have signed a $2.5 billion multi-year agreement to integrate their artificial intelligence and customer relationship management tools. The deal will link Google Cloud’s infrastructure with Salesforce’s AI-powered Agentforce assistants, CRM software, and Data Cloud capabilities. This partnership aims to enhance interaction between Google Workspace and Salesforce’s CRM and AI solutions.

The collaboration marks a significant expansion of Google Cloud in the CRM space, particularly for artificial intelligence-driven customer service, data analytics, and automation. CEO Thomas Kurian stated that clients are seeking seamless connectivity between Salesforce and Google Cloud.

The deal follows recent collaborations with ServiceNow and signifies a more all-encompassing multi-cloud strategy for Google Cloud. However, it also highlights Salesforce’s dependence on Amazon Web Services for part of its cloud computing infrastructure.

A statement by Salesforce is expected this week, addressing the company’s fourth-quarter fiscal 2025 results.
