Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo will perform live at the 97th Oscars, joined by Lisa from “The White Lotus” and Blackpink’s band members, Doja Cat, Queen Latifah, and Raye. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has also announced that Los Angeles Master Chorale will make a special appearance.
Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the ceremony will air live on ABC and stream on Hulu on March 2 at 4 p.m. PT. A unique twist this year is that the show won’t feature live performances of original song nominees; instead, it will focus on personal reflections from songwriters and creative teams.
The Oscars also aim to honor Los Angeles as a city that has overcome adversity, showcasing its resilience in the wake of recent wildfires. The ceremony promises an A-list lineup of presenters, including Cillian Murphy, Emma Stone, Robert Downey Jr., Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and many others.
