A 23-year-old woman from Keene, New Hampshire, Kelli Tedford, has been arrested and charged with criminal mischief after contaminating food at a local store with her urine. The Monadnock Food Co-op issued a recall of several bulk department items between February 10th and March 15th due to the contamination.
Tedford recorded herself in the act multiple times and even posted videos online. The store lost $1,500 in merchandise and cleaning costs as a result of the incident. Investigators believe this may not be Tedford’s first offense, as they found similar incidents dating back to 2021.
Customers who purchased possibly contaminated items are advised to contact Keene Police Det. Don Lundin at 603-357-9813 if they witnessed suspicious behavior or have any concerns.
