Actress Zoë Kravitz has opened up about her breakup with ex-fiancé Channing Tatum in a recent ELLE interview, and surprisingly, she’s feeling grateful for their time together. The 36-year-old star called off the engagement with Tatum last year after realizing they’re at different stages in life.
Kravitz, who starred alongside Tatum in the psychological thriller Blink Twice, says she has no hard feelings about their split and continues to be a fan of his work. In fact, she thinks he’s “in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident” and is excited for audiences to see more of him.
The actress credits Tatum with bringing her high praise in interviews, saying she wanted to “weaponize his charisma” when casting him in the movie. Despite their breakup, Kravitz stands by her decision to work with Tatum, citing her excitement about seeing him take on a different role and prove himself as an actor.
Kravitz’s comments come after she sang Tatum’s praises during a December 2024 interview with The Batman director Matt Reeves. In the interview, she gushed about how much she wanted to see Tatum bring his charisma to the screen in Blink Twice.
