Renowned composer Hiroyuki Sawano has returned to score new music for Xenoblade Chronicle X: Definitive Edition, set to be released on March 20, 2025, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. This is not his first collaboration with the series, as he was the primary composer for the original Wii U version.
Sawano’s legendary career spans multiple anime, movies, and other projects, including Attack on Titan, The Seven Deadly Sins, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, and Kill la Kill. He will be joined by Misaki Umase in creating new music for Xenoblade Chronicle X: Definitive Edition, with Umase having contributed to various anime titles such as Pretty Cure.
Snippets of the new music have been featured in recent trailers, giving fans a glimpse into what’s to come. With Sawano’s iconic sound and Umase’s talents on board, this latest installment promises an enhanced experience for fans.
