Samsung is reportedly working on its next flagship foldable, the Galaxy Fold 7, with a thinnest design yet. The phone will be just 4.5mm thick when unfolded and 9.5mm when folded, making it thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 by a full millimeter. While still not the thinnest on the market, Samsung’s foldable would trail behind OPPO’s Find N5, which boasts a mere 4.2mm thickness.
The new device is expected to feature a 200MP main camera sensor and the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Additionally, improvements have been reported in the hinge and water/dust resistance. However, the battery capacity remains unchanged at 4,400mAh, a slight disappointment compared to last year’s model. Despite this, early foldable enthusiasts will know that slight battery compromises are minor issues when considering the overall package of a foldable device.
