UFC CEO Dana White announced Rafael Fiziev will face Justin Gaethje at UFC 313 in Las Vegas, replacing injured Dan Hooker. The rematch comes nearly two years after their original fight in London, where Gaethje won via majority decision.
Fiziev, fighting for the first time since injuring his knee against Mateusz Gamrot in September 2023, will look to get back into action and the winner’s circle. He had previously held a six-fight winning streak with knockouts over Renato Moicano, Brad Riddell, and Rafael dos Anjos.
Gaethje, eager to bounce back from his loss to Max Holloway at UFC 300, believes he has one more fight left in him. The 36-year-old former interim champion is confident he can take down Gaethje and reclaim his spot as a title contender.
Additionally, White announced an addition to UFC 314 in Miami: Jean Silva will face Bryce Mitchell. Silva, known for his knockout wins in each of his four Octagon appearances, boasts a 12-fight winning streak overall.
