Browns GM Says Myles Garrett Won’t Be Traded

Cleveland Browns General Manager Andrew Berry has reiterated that the team has no intention of trading four-time All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett. This stance remains unchanged despite a statement from Garrett earlier this month requesting to be traded to a winning team.

Berry’s comments come after the Detroit Lions were considered potential suitors for Garrett, with the team seen as a Super Bowl contender in need of bolstering their pass rush. However, Holmes cautioned that acquiring a single elite pass rusher is not a guaranteed solution and may not provide enough depth to the team.

Browns General Manager Brad Holmes acknowledged the challenge of finding premium pass rushers, stating, “It’s hard” due to the limited availability of top talent. While he expressed interest in building a deeper reserve line, Berry reiterates that Garrett is an integral part of the organization and not available for trade.
