Gervonta “Tank” Davis will defend his WBA lightweight title against underdog Lamont Roach on Saturday, March 1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The two fighters have a history dating back to their amateur days and are expected to make their ring walks around 10pm ET.
Davis, with an undefeated record of 30-0, is considered the favorite in this bout, but Roach’s coach believes he has a chance to pull off an upset. The bout marks a crucial test for both fighters, with several high-profile matches scheduled for later in 2025.
