Blue Jackets’ Stadium Series Parking Info Inside

The Columbus Blue Jackets will host the Detroit Red Wings at Ohio Stadium in their first outdoor hockey game, with a capacity crowd of over 90,000 expected to attend. To ensure fans can park safely and conveniently, the NHL and Ohio State University have designated several parking options.

Pre-purchased parking tickets are available for lots near the Schottenstein Center and one on OSU’s website, ranging from $50 to $200. Day-of-game parking is available in multiple credit card-only campus lots for $30, with three clusters located on different sides of campus. The day-of-game lots are easily identifiable by their bright green color.

Shuttle service will operate from the west side of campus to Coffey Road Park. Parking lots open at 8 a.m. on game day, and attendees must vacate the premises by 8 a.m. the following day.

To avoid any issues, familiarize yourself with the rules in place for Stadium Series parking:

– Charcoal grilling is prohibited, except in designated areas.
– Consuming alcohol or possessing an open container in public is strictly forbidden.
– RV drivers require a permit to park in designated RV lots.
– Tailgating setups must fit within allocated parking spaces and not obstruct traffic flow.

Tickets for the game can be purchased on ticketmaster.com, while fans can also livestream or listen to the game on ESPN and 97.1 The Fan radio station.
