Rockstar Games’ highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) is set to launch in 2025, according to recent leaks and reports. The game’s release date is expected to be on September 17, 2025, although it may be delayed for PC gamers until 2026.
The standard version of GTA 6 will reportedly cost around $5,999 in India, while special editions could reach as high as $7,299. International prices are expected to be even higher, with some reports suggesting a price tag of up to $100 (around Rs 9,000).
In terms of system specifications, PC gamers can expect the following minimum requirements: an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti or AMD Radeon X5700XT graphics card, Windows 10, and at least 8GB of RAM.
Leaked information also suggests that GTA 6 will feature a more diverse cast of characters, including the first female protagonist Lucia. The game’s narrative will also include an alternate story mode with two playable male companions. Furthermore, the cult “Wanted” system is expected to be revamped with improved police AI and stealth escape mechanics.
Finally, the game’s map is rumored to be inspired by Florida, with a vibrant neon aesthetic reminiscent of Vice City. Expect a larger and more detailed map than previous GTA games, featuring beaches, swamps, and sprawling urban zones.
