Christopher Bell has won his second consecutive NASCAR Cup Series race of 2025, claiming the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix on Sunday at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. This marks his 11th career Cup Series victory.
Bell dominated the final stage, leading a race-high 42 laps before passing Kyle Busch with five laps remaining. Busch had been trying to break a 59-race winless streak but ultimately faded to fifth after using up his tires defending against Bell’s surge.
“Almost deja vu from last year here,” said Bell, who finished second at COTA in 2024. “These road-course races are so much fun.”
Busch, who had won once this season, was left to console himself with a fifth-place finish. Despite a strong car, he struggled to keep pace with Bell’s No. 20 Chevrolet.
Pole sitter Tyler Reddick finished third, while Chase Elliott rebounded from an early incident to secure fourth place. Bubba Wallace led the opening stage but was unable to capitalize on his strong start.
NASCAR Cup Series points leader William Byron won the season-opening Daytona 500 and triumphed at COTA last year. Bell’s win cements his position as a top contender for the championship.
