Oscar winner Adrien Brody has triumphed in the Best Actor category for his role as László Tóth in “The Brutalist.” This marks his second Oscar win, 22 years after he received the award for his work in “The Pianist,” a film that also centers on a Holocaust survivor character.
In acceptance speech, Brody expressed his perspective on the fragility of acting: “Acting is a very fragile profession… No matter where you are in your career, no matter what you’ve accomplished, it can all go away.” He emphasized gratitude for still being able to do the work he loves.
Brody’s second Oscar win solidifies his legacy as a talented actor.
