Cleveland Browns General Manager Andrew Berry has made it clear that he does not intend to trade star pass-rusher Myles Garrett. Despite speculation and interest from the Buffalo Bills and other teams in western New York, Berry said at the 2025 NFL combine that the team is focused on signing Garrett to a new contract.
Garrett, who had an impressive season last year with 14 sacks, is entering his prime and has drawn comparisons to being a potential fit for the Bills. However, Berry’s comments suggest that Cleveland is committed to keeping its defensive star.
Oddsmakers have given the Bills a +2000 chance of acquiring Garrett in a trade this offseason, while making Cleveland the favorite to sign him at +300. Despite this, Berry remained resolute in his stance, stating that it is “irrelevant” whether any teams have shown interest in trading for Garrett. The Browns’ focus appears to be on locking up their talented pass-rusher to a long-term deal.
