The Golden State Warriors got back on track with a win over the Charlotte Hornets, beating them 119-101. Despite not playing cleanly, the team managed to pick up a much-needed victory and move into sixth place in the Western Conference.
Moses Moody had a strong defensive game but struggled to score, earning him a C+ grade. Jimmy Butler III put together an average performance, despite the team looking more dynamic without Steph Curry on Saturday, scoring a B grade. Draymond Green delivered a standout game with exceptional defense and playmaking skills, earning an A grade.
Brandin Podziemski shone with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists, bringing energy to the court and helping the team win the rebounding battle. He earned an A grade for his performance. Steph Curry had a masterful game, setting up teammates and scoring when needed, earning an A- grade.
Gary Payton II suffered a scary injury but seemed okay post-game, despite missing 21 minutes due to blood from a violent hit to the face in the third quarter. Buddy Hield saved the day with his shooting, leading the team in points, and earned an A+ grade. Kevon Looney had a solid game, scoring 4 points and rebounding 6 times.
Gui Santos struggled on offense but provided defense and energy, earning a C grade. Quinten Post showed promise with 6 points and 3 rebounds but still hasn’t figured out how to score inside the arc. The Warriors’ inactives included Taran Armstrong, Jonathan Kuminga, and Jackson Rowe.
