The Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers are gearing up for the playoffs as several key players return from injury.
The Bruins’ Frederic, who missed three games with an upper-body injury, returned with 15 points (eight goals, seven assists) in his last two games. He has 109 points (55 goals, 54 assists) in 337 regular-season games and five points in 22 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Meanwhile, Jones is still searching for his first point with the Bruins this season after scoring 21 points in 38 games with Providence in the American Hockey League. The 27-year-old had 62 points (31 goals, 31 assists) in 265 regular-season games with Anaheim and Boston.
On the other side of the division, the Oilers’ Hauser is struggling to find his footing. He has one goal and three assists in 16 games with HC Vitkovice in the Czech Extraliga and five goals in 16 games with HC Stadion Litomerice in the Czech First League.
The Oilers are in second place in the Pacific Division, four points behind the Vegas Golden Knights. They have 35-22-4 record on the season.
