Apple is set to release a new software update, iOS 18.4, in early April. This update will bring the popular “Visual Intelligence” feature to the iPhone 15 Pro and older models.
Visual Intelligence allows you to tap into AI-powered knowledge by pointing your camera at something. You can use it to search for information online or add content from flyers to your calendar. The feature was previously exclusive to the iPhone 16 line, but will now be available on more phones due to advancements in chip technology.
The update also includes a new “Apple News+ Food” section, which will provide recipe content. However, Apple’s upgraded Siri feature, expected to allow the AI assistant to interact with apps, is being delayed until later.
The iOS 18.4 beta has already been released, and the final version is expected to be available soon. With this update, iPhone users will have access to more features and tools on their device.
