Melania Trump Opens Up on UK State Visit with Donald and the Royals

In her new book, Melania Trump shares intimate details about her husband’s state visit to the UK in 2019. The couple dined with Prince Charles at Winfield House, the US Ambassador’s residence in London, as part of a warm welcome from the British royal family.

Despite the tumultuous backdrop of Brexit and changes at the Prime Minister’s office, Melania wrote that the Queen and her family treated them “with the utmost hospitality.” She noted that she had planned to meet with the Queen before her passing in 2022 but expressed hope for continued friendship with the Royal Family through letters exchanged with King Charles.

Melania also shared a personal connection with Prince Charles during their meeting, citing an environmental conservation conversation. Meanwhile, President-elect Donald Trump has publicly defended the late Queen and royal family, including Prince Harry, whom he called “unforgivable” for lying about his past in the US.

In light of this new information, there are whispers that Melania may have persuaded Donald to reconsider his stance on Prince Harry’s alleged drug use. With King Charles’ backing, it appears that reconciliation might be possible.
