Serbia’s Vucic at Odds with Opponents Over Resignation Plans

Tensions erupted in Serbia’s parliament as opposition lawmakers clashed with pro-government deputies, disrupting a session aimed at confirming Prime Minister Milos Vucevic’s resignation and discussing laws to ease protests. At least three deputies were injured, including one who was hospitalized in serious condition. Speaker Ana Brnabic described the opposition lawmakers as a “terrorist gang,” further straining relations between President Aleksandar Vucic’s government and its opponents.
