A shooting occurred at a Tesla dealership in Tigard, Oregon, early Thursday morning, shattering windows and damaging three cars. The suspect(s) were seen on surveillance video opening fire at around 1:45 a.m., according to the Tigard Police Department.
The motive behind the attack is currently unknown, but authorities are working with federal partners, including the FBI and ATF, to investigate. This incident comes after reports of arson and another shooting at the Salem Tesla dealership in January and February.
Protesters who gathered outside the dealership on Thursday did not condone violence or harm. “There’s no answer for anything violent or jeopardizing someone’s health and safety,” said one protester.
