A New Trier High School’s Korean drum club joined the annual Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, participating in a local tradition since 1934.
Highland Park-based Time to Dance Ensemble dancers are teaming with North Shore School of Dance students for “The Peanut Cracker” at 10:30 a.m. on December 8. The show features over 70 dancers from age 3 to 80 performing holiday classics, including “The Nutcracker.”
Tickets for the performance are $18 and can be purchased online at northshoredance.com.
Glencoe’s outdoor ice rinks have opened for the season, offering several options for individuals and families. Season passes grant unlimited access to the rink seven days a week, while daily admission is available Monday through Friday.
