Google’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, Pixel 9a, has been extensively leaked. The leaks reveal its design changes, specs, and alleged pricing in the US and Europe.
The Pixel 9a will reportedly feature a flat frame, similar to iPhones, and a revamped rear design with a minimal camera bump. It will also have an abstract, artsy wallpaper option.
In terms of specs, the phone is expected to have a 6.3-inch display with HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 2,700 nits. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Tensor G4 chip with 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Pixel 9a is also expected to have improved battery life with a massive 5,100mAh battery, but its charging speed may remain at 18W. Despite this, rumors suggest the phone’s starting price will stay at $499 in the US, although the 256GB variant will cost $40 more.
Multiple reports indicate that Google will unveil the Pixel 9a on March 19, with sales starting on March 26.
