Samsung Sends Second November Update for Galaxy S24 Series

Samsung has released a second November update for its Galaxy S24 series, bypassing the December patch and sending users an early security fix instead. The new firmware brings classic security fixes, performance optimizations, bug fixes, and stability improvements to the devices.

The update is available first in Europe for users of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, with build numbers S921BXXU4AXK4, S926BXXU4AXK4, and S928BXXU4AXK4, respectively. There are currently no reported security issues affecting the latest mobile flagships.

While Samsung’s intentions behind releasing a second November update remain unclear, it is possible that this patch lays the groundwork for future updates leading up to Android 15-based One UI 7. The company has confirmed that the beta will be available before 2025, with leaks suggesting enrollment may begin in mid-December.

One UI 7’s release timeline remains uncertain, with reports indicating significant changes are being made to the software. New features, such as those expected in One UI 7.1, may not arrive until later than initially anticipated.
