Stowaway Causes Flight Delay on Return from Paris to New York

A passenger who was previously caught stowing away on a Delta Air Lines flight from New York to Paris has caused another delay on the return journey. The individual, identified as an unruly customer, boarded Flight 265 from Paris without proper clearance and was removed by French authorities.

According to Delta representative Morgan Durrant, the delay occurred when the passenger became unruly during the flight, prompting a two-hour delay before departure. The passenger had previously been discovered stowing away on a similar flight, according to sources.

In Tuesday’s incident, the individual bypassed identity verification and boarding status checks to sneak onto Flight 264 from Kennedy International Airport to Paris. French authorities boarded the plane upon arrival, and one passenger reported hearing that the woman had been moving between lavatories without going to her seat.

Delta has declined to comment on both incidents, while the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and FBI have also referred questions to French authorities. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has referred inquiries about Saturday’s flight to the TSA and Delta.
