Lord Grosvenor, a billionaire and one of the UK’s biggest landowners, is a close friend of the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex. He is godfather to both Prince George and Prince Archie. The Prince of Wales attended Lord Grosvenor’s wedding last year as an usher in Chester Cathedral.
Lord Grosvenor inherited his title and vast property portfolio at age 25 following his father’s death in 2016. His company, Grosvenor Group, owns significant land holdings in London and has developed major projects like Liverpool’s One shopping centre.
In 2020, Lord Grosvenor donated £12.5 million to the UK’s Covid relief efforts, including funding for NHS Charities Together and medical research.
